Firefighters have been working non-stop for over a day to control a wildfire. The blaze has burned around 1,000 acres so far. Efforts to contain it are ongoing, with some progress made overnight.

A team from the Texas A&M Forest Service is working with local crews to bring the fire under control. They have been using heavy equipment and aircraft to try to slow its spread. As of now, the fire is partially contained, but further work is needed to fully bring it under control.
