A police dog has passed away at the age of 11. The dog, named Dalton, served as a K-9 partner from 2019 to 2024. During his career, Dalton answered over 800 calls and gave more than 50 demonstrations.

He was involved in several notable cases, including helping to catch dangerous criminals and find missing individuals. Dalton's handler, Sergeant Larry Martinez, remembered him as a good dog who did good things for the community.
