Residents of Hillsboro will experience a temporary interruption in water service. The disruption is scheduled to begin on Monday at 10:00 PM and will affect areas west of Cho Street. City crews will be performing repairs on the downtown water tower, including fixing two water leaks and installing new valves.

The work is anticipated to take several hours to complete. Once the water service is restored, a boil water notice will be in effect for affected customers until the water quality is tested and cleared.
