McLennan County Property Tax: Due Dates & How to Pay (2026)

When property taxes are due for Waco homeowners and where to handle your bill, from official McLennan County sources. Updated July 2026.

Texas property taxes are due on receipt of the bill and must be paid by January 31; they become delinquent February 1, when a 6% penalty plus 1% interest is added and interest continues to accrue monthly. The McLennan County Tax Office collects (254-757-5130).
